Appearance[]

A most handsome man with sword-like eyebrows and starry eyes and a lean silhouette.

Personality[]

Li Changshou is a paranoid man who always disguises himself as an ordinary person to not attract attention and avoid karma. The numerous social skills he learned to prevent being noticed were honed through hundreds of years of observation. Furthermore, Li Changshou maintains his cultivation realm hidden in all circumstances while keeping most of his abilities as trump cards, only using them when he is truly forced to fight.[1]

Background[]

His name was Li Changshou (really?). When he had been being accepted as a disciple, he had insisted on keeping Changshou as his Dao name. Changshou means longevity.

Status[]

The Grand Pure One took him as a disciple. He was a Dao God on the Heavenly Immortal Court in the guise of a middle-aged daoist Changgeng,[2] titled the Sea God, later Water God, and then Taibai Star Lord; a strategist of the Jade Emperor, and teacher to Jade Emperor’s daughter, Long Ji, as entrusted by the Queen Mother.[3]

“Pass down the decree to the Hall of Enlightenment. Minister Changgeng is conferred the title of the Taibai Star Lord. He is a second-rank righteous god of the Heavenly Courts. He is not included in the ranks of the stars. He will be in charge of the changes in Heaven and Earth, as well as the killing of Heaven and Earth. He will be in charge of the water affairs of the Three Realms and have the right to monitor the immortals of the Heavenly Courts. Those who are not in the fourth-rank Deity Positions will be spared. In addition, Changgeng is also the Chief Instructor of the Chang’e of the Moon Palace. The Water God Residence will be renamed the Taibai Hall.”[4]
